Accessible by private boat or ferry, the destination offers the perfect setting for a getaway - peace and quiet and starry skies free from light pollution. You're in the midst of the great outdoors, the turbulent rocky coves and the surrounding archipelago. You'll feel time stand still. The three-day holiday includes comfortable, island-style cabin accommodation, including breakfast and a hearty meal, plus a sauna during the day. Weather permitting, we can organise excursions on request to the natural birdwatchers' paradise of Ristisaari island or a fishing trip to the nearby waters. Adventurous accessibility: the destination is accessible only by ferry or by private boat - weather conditions may affect departure. A ferry trip to the island is an adventure in itself, a destination not everyone can find.
Peace and tranquillity: the perfect environment for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature (adults only). A walk through the forest and along the beaches will ground and overwhelm you with its beauty.
Light pollution-free skies: stunning, clear starry skies.
Effortlessness: the meals of the day (breakfast, one meal) are prepared in Cafe Mustika's own kitchen, with a preference for local delicacies. Cafe Mustika also makes all its own sweet/salty pies and pastries.
Authentic archipelago experience: unique flora, fauna, birdlife and an authentic nature experience. Here you can see some of Europe's finest spring displays, as flocks of millions of Arctic migratory birds fly over the area on their way to breeding grounds in the north and south.
Fishing waters: Trout, perch, whitefish and salmon rise from nearby waters.
Lively archipelago village: the island has a shop, museum, restaurant Maja, signposted paths, stunning sandy beaches, a magnificent lighthouse, a unique archipelago village with buildings.
